 In 1989, OEM Laser Systems, was a pioneer and leader in toner cartridge re-manufacturing (aftermarket consumables) on Long Island.

In Early 1990, OEM Laser opened it's first shop in Islandia with nothing more than a Panasonic 1310R copier and 10 empty toner cartridges.

This is the Early Version of a "Single Cartridge" Rebuild Workstation.  There were many steps in the rebuilding process. Many different tools, vacuums, and precise instruments which allowed for the whole operation's success.

In 1994, OEM expanded into a 4000 square foot facility  at 150 Knickerbocker Ave. in Bohemia, NY. By 1996 OEM employed 15 employees and had many new toner cartridge and service contracts. 

OEM Laser Systems built over 25 different types of toner and drum cartridges and carried the parts to service & support over 2500 laser printers Island Wide.
